Prince Ozai and Princess Ursa of the Fire Nation. It's the time when they were still a happy married couple before things became ugly...
I just watched the whole Avatar: The Last Airbender series last week, and I'm currently in love with it. Then I became a Urzai shipper after reading this beautiful Ozai/Ursa fanfiction, Perpetuity. Thus I decided to draw these two first.
The show didn't reveal much about Ozai and Ursa's story, though. Their marriage is arranged, they have two children, and then Ursa is banished for treason because she couldn't let her husband kill her own son when Ozai's father ordered him to do so.
Ozai became the Fire Lord after his father's death, and he became a heartless monster. He planned to conquer the other three nations by force. In the end, he was defeated by the Avatar. Even though the show is already over, Ursa's whereabout still remains a mystery...
By the way, this scene is sort of inspired by this fanfic, Linger. I always assume Ozai and Ursa did love each other once during their marriage, but then everything changed and the damage is done. Perhaps it's the tragedy factor of their relationship that attracts me this much, I guess.

Even in light of everything revealed in "The Search", I still feel inclined to think that at one point, however brief, Ozai tried to be that ideal husband/father for his family.
And even though their marriage was still coerced, I don't really see Ozai ever forcing himself onto Ursa. Certainly maybe prod and emotionally manipulate her but never anything physical.
