For some reason, I always think the love story of these two is kind of sad when the story background is set in the All Hail Megatron universe. The Autobots no longer have a capable leader to lead them, the Decepticons are winning this war, and those bloodthirsty Swarms are everywhere. These bots struggle to live, but everything just seems so hopeless and full of despair. All these complicated circumstances challenge their relationship.


Moonracer loves Perceptor, but she can never understand what Perceptor is thinking, and she's afraid that he only claims her as his mate just because Kup orders him to do so. Perceptor cares about Moonracer, and he will kill anyone who dares to hurt her, but he can never protect her from the demons lurking inside his mind since that fateful accident which nearly killed him. All they can do is stay close together, seeking warmth and comfort from each other, and face all the monsters out there in this cruel world when they wake up.





I was listening to Silent Water Rings while coloring this picture. Once again, our baby Black Bulbul nearly destroyed my laptop when I tried to get this picture done. I guess the little bird must really, really hate crack pairings...
