Protect You

A Perceptor/Moonracer fanart based on a fanfic and the All Hail Megatron comic series.




The characters in the three panels above are:

(Yes, I even humanized the Swarm in this picture. The creature is some kind of mutant Cybertronians in the comics, so I made it look like a zombie here... )






The whole concept behind this scene is inspired by 's Transformers fanfiction, Ghosts. In this AHM fanfic, Kup orders a few mechs to mate with the remaining female Autobots and end their breeding cycle, so the Swarm can't use the femmes' scent to find them. Following Kup's order, Perceptor claims Moonracer as his mate, and they have a baby named Scope afterward.


Moonracer loves Perceptor, but the scientist doesn't show his emotions much so she isn't too sure about how he feels for her. When Moonracer is pregnant with his child, she asks Perceptor about their future. Perceptor tells her that he'll be there for her and their child, and he will protect both of them to the best of his ability.






I became a shipper of this pairing after reading the fanfic, so I imagined a scene of the Swarm attacking this family and drew all the characters as humans. I made a few changes on Perceptor's human form here, since his personality is darker in this storyline, and he seems more like a calm, heartless (or sparkless) sniper than the geeky nerd we're more familiar with...



Well, that's it. Don't panic, little Scope — just be still and watch Daddy Percy slay that zombie with science and his rifle.
