NF: Ratchet and Nightfire

Fanart for (aka Litahatchee on FanFiction.Net) 's Transformers fanfiction, "Night Fire". It's a picture of Ratchet and the Decepticon medic, Nightfire (a femme OC in the fanfic) in their human forms.

In the story, Nightfire joins the Autobots after losing her sparkmate Deluge in a brutal massacre caused by Megatron. She helps many patients and becomes a great help to Ratchet, and then the Autobot medic has developed some special feelings toward Nightfire after their cooperation. She can't give him her spark because she has already spark-bonded with Deluge and is going to be dead soon due to the loss of her sparkmate. The only way she could return his love is to leave her CPU and all her memories to Ratchet when she dies.


I really love this pairing and feel so sorry for their sad love while reading the story, so I decided to put them together in one scene after finishing coloring their feature pictures (I'm working on a fanvid for the story, and it will feature six characters in the planned vid). I still suck at drawing movieverse robots, so I drew the humanised version instead - and this is what I imagine they would look like if they were humans.
