Great Shock

Don't worry, he is not the child's father - Sam Witwicky is the one who should be responsible for this.


Well, this piece of art is inspired by chapter 1 of 's fanfic "When We Dared the Dawn". At the very begining of the story, Mikaela becomes pregnant. When she tells Ratchet - who has been her guardian and acts like her father for years - about this shocking news, the Autobot nearly has all his circuits melted and can't believe the dreadful truth his lovely charge has just told him.



I drew Mikaela according to a few Megan Fox's pics I found on the Internet. Drawing Ratchet almost got me killed - goodness, all the movieverse Transformers are so detailed and complicated! Sometimes I really hate their design when I try to draw them...

And here I have to thank for her generous help - she kindly offered me some clear and high-quality pictures of movieverse Ratchet for reference when I had difficulty drawing the Autobot medic. I can never draw Ratchet right without her help.
