First Love

Humanized version of Moonracer and Perceptor inspired by Hikaru Utada's First Love (piano instrumental). The concept of this scene is loosely based on this Transformers fanfiction, Dancing On Blades.


In the prologue of the fanfic, Moonracer is a transfer student from Tarn. She doesn't know the Iacon Academy so well, so she often gets lost in the campus or goes to the wrong classroom. The professor is harsh to her, and some students even make fun of Moonracer just because she's new, but she manages to survive her first day at school.






Since I ship Perceptor/Moonracer like crazy, I decided to draw both of them here as young students in the Iacon Academy. You know, in a theme like "College Sweethearts" or "Beauty and the Nerd".



So this is a "Happy February 29th!" special art. It's not a common date, it deserves some kind of celebration!
